So, yeah, you know how I disappeared for a bit a few weeks ago? I'm probably going to have to do that again soon. I have three fics to write in the next six weeks with a total of at least 80,000 words if not more (I really wish I wouldn't write plot sometimes), and April is annual report and quarterly corporate magazine month at work. And it could maybe totally happen. Ryan was talking about listening to The Beatles and Bob Dylan and wanting to get into what they listened to, which would mean Woody Guthrie and Leadbelly, which I tell myself could mean an alt country venture. Seriously, what could be more of a departure from where they started? And they seem to like the departures.

He was terrific tonight. He played that song from the KUT interview! And 4 from the new album, including The One and Oh Baby, I. \o/

Oh, you guys should park under the car port when you get in. There's a space next to the Subaru, and it's going to rain. There's no point in getting wet. :) I'll be home all afternoon if you end up getting lost or something, but Mapquest gives good directions for my house. We're easy to find, even though we're on a dirt road. :D

I keep talking about how I'm going to make all my serious, bluegrass loving, festival-going friends listen to Folkin' Around and then when they're like, "Hey, not bad," I'm going to spring the Panic part on them. Haha!

But for serious, I love bluegrass and oldschool folk music, and this song made me happy in my SOUL. Brendon Urie, who knew? *grins*

I love Northern Downpour so much that I put part of it on my skin. Have you heard the alt version? (I just downloaded it and haven't listened yet, so apologies if it sucks? IDK.)

And IAWTC about Brendon being a crazy-amazing musician. Sunny and I were rhapsodizing the other day about how awesome it would be if Brendon and Patrick did something side-projecty together -- they could play EVERY INSTRUMENT BETWEEN THEM, WHY ARE THEY NOT DOING THIS ALREADY. Brendon is my favorite the end.

Also Patrick was so fucking hot last night that I didn't even know what to do with myself, and Pete is the prettiest person I have ever seen in real life. Just thought you would appreciate the reminders.
