Just the usual, reading cross over fic for shows I don't watch and books I don't read! But, I love the voice and the commentary about the utter weirdness of the Cullens and the two girls off hunting and complaining about Socrates. And I think the prompt is there -- you are writing two girls who are very sure of themselves. So sure of themselves, that they don't even worry about whether others think they are stuck up.

Lovely work!

omg. This was perfection. I love, love, love where this prompt took you. That you used it to create the character of Renesme into a grown up, confident woman. Fabulous.

I especially loved this exchange, that taught us so much about her:

but when Claire asks how Jake is, with that gossipy tone that means she expects romance novels and engagement rings, Ren doesn’t know how to respond. Jacob is Jacob, her Jacob, her uncle and brother and friend, who taught her to hunt and once drove her across the country just because she wanted to see it all. He’s gorgeous, and she’s old enough to see that, but she cannot understand how she could ever want him. Even worse, she can see that he wants her, that he wants so much to hold her and kiss her and love her, and that he sees absolutely nothing weird about that. But it is weird, and she doesn’t know how to tell him that she will never love him woman to man.I just adore the line about how hard it is not to love someone custom built for her, even as she acknowledges frustration that everyone ( ... )

Aieee, thank you so much; this comment made me super happy! I'm so pleased that you liked the story!

Re: imprinting...I, like a lot of people, have a big issue with it and I wanted to try to let Ren have my opinions about it while still acknowledging the fact that she does have a relationship with Jacob- just not the one everyone expects. So I'm really glad that section worked out.

Thank you so so much for reading!

Fantastic. I love getting those characters that we only know through glimpses and seeing them brought to life.

Laughed out loud at the part about craving B-negative.

It takes a lot for me to read a fic and love Renesmee. And I mean a lot.

I love your Ren. I love that she isn't in love with Jake, that she loves being immortal yet still wants change and to find herself. Her and Jo are a perfect combination, and I didn't want the fic to end. I want to read more about them.

So much love for this fic :D

:DDD Thank you so much; your comment made me really happy!! I love the Renesmee of the group of fandom that says she doesn't have to be perfectly happy with the Cullen/wolf-printers lifestyle, and I loved exploring her. And Jo should just be everyone's friend :D

I don't really read or watch either series but I found this story absolutely fascinating. Good work!
