So, in my last OU module, after getting the lowest marks so far for the assignments, and after the complete clusterfuck that was the exam (we got the wrong case study - not the one we'd revised for - in the exam), I somehow wound up with another distinction. Not sure how the hell that happened, but it makes three out of three, with only one left to

Yay, I got a distinction for the second module in my Postgraduate Diploma, to add to the one I got for my first module. I even got 71% for my exam (which is a bloody miracle considering it was my first exam in fifty years, my hand fell off half way through, and I got admitted to hospital with dehydration quarter of an hour before the end - well, ( Read more... )

ExamSo I was completely unprepared; took no water in (three and a half hours), just launched myself into the first four questions before thinking about structure and paragraphs... but I think I did pretty good. Wow, I feel wrecked and tired like at the end of a hard week, not a weekend. Drinking so much on Saturday wasn't a good idea. Ultimately, I don't really enjoy drinking more than a certain amount. I made a resolution to take advantage of having a roof over my head in London this week to knuckle down and get more work and studying done this week than I had been doing. to be fair, it had been pretty hard with all the travelling and the work in Ireland (which is different altogether to working on 360 and getting the business running better). I have somewhere to live in London!!!

This is very cool. It's only somewhere temporary, but it will mean I can be based in London properly, and not spend lots of time travelling in a ridiculous triangle between work, mates and home.
