Help?
I'm translating Brokeback Mountain for school and I can't really picture what she means here:
"...his smile disclosed buckteeth, not pronounced enough to let him eat popcorn out of the neck of a jug, but noticeable."
That part I bolded? I know what buckteeth are and all that I just don't understand how (or why!) you'd eat popcorn out of the neck of a jug so I have no idea how to translate this. Anyone care to explain this to me?
