Ok, another one.

That bolded part, would you take it to mean like a warning "Well, you watch out." or more of an acknowledgment: "Well, you take what you get." Or something else altogether? I would think the first one but I'm not sure.
Also, does anyone know if they *'d th swear words in the original print? Mine is a pdf file so...
