Check out a Buffyverse writer's original fiction?
Some of you know anaross, or are fans of her stories set in the Buffyverse (on AO3: My Life Closed Twice, Long Day's Journey, Ransomed, Healed, Restored, Forgiven, to name a few), Veronica Mars, or Firefly. A tremendous source of inspiration for me and among the reasons I swan-dived into the Buffy fandom as a writer. In fact, one of the first Buffy fanfic I've ever written ( "Here and Now") was in response to her story, "Stay"(note the warnings).
She is trying to publish her latest original fiction (a mystery set in the Regency period) via the Amazon Kindle Scout program, which selects works based on reader nomination. Check it out! In other news, I recently picked up two new super fluffy, super soft Christmas ornaments (pictured below with their families). So soft, in fact, that Baby M would yank one off the tree and rub it against her cheek while smiling mischievously. Aren't these adorable? :)
