Well I guess it's about time to re-do this post.
I'm a 23 24 year old Canadian living in Germany with my aunt and uncle. In Canada I was a machine operator in a custom mental fabrication shop. I'm hoping to study physics here in Germany in a few years. Right now I'm focusing on learning German. I love reading, so I talk about books I've read quite often. Other than that I just blog about what's going on in my life.
I do sometimes blog about some more serious things happeneing in my life, like the aftermath of my dad's death and my mom's personality disorder. But that's always under a cut and marked as "misery", so if you find that sort of things too upsetting to read, don't worry about it.
I usually post at least once a week, sometimes more often. I read every entry that comes up on my feed, but I don't comment 100% of the time. I just feel weird commenting if I don't have anything super useful to say, you know? I do try and stay in touch as much as can, though. (And of course, I don't expect anyone to comment on 100% of my entries either.) Just wanted to put that out there so I don't accidentally offend anyone! 😉
If you'd like to see what I've been reading, here's my list of all the books I've read since Jan 2016. My resolutions for 2016 are:
01. Read German newspapers and magazines easily
02. Write 100,000 words of fiction
03. Read 25 books in 2016
Longer term goals:
01. Get a university degree
02. Learn French
03. Write a novel or novel-length fanfic
04. Go on a solo bike tour for at least 3 months
