Went to dentist yesterday morning, and had a new crown fitted. Hoping that now all my dental abscess problems are a thing of the past. Just to be extra cautious, with a holiday coming up, the dentist gave me a prescription for antibiotics - but the kind you can drink alcohol with, so that's all right.
Quiz victory - on a tie-break, won when the opposition thought that Gibraltar became a British possession in 1147. Dominic was making noises about reducing the prize money further, 'cos the pub don't think they're making enough profit out of us. I suggested to him that just maybe if they tried to promote the quiz and get more punters interested in having a go rather than shove the teams away in a side-room they might get a better return on their investment.
Physio appointment this morning. Saw a deaf physiotherapist, who had a sign language interpreter with her. Interesting watching the interpreter sign "medieval sword-fighting"...
I have another appointment next week, and exercises to do four times a day, to try and reduce swelling and restore mobility to my finger.
