A win in the quiz last night, even though the quizmaster insisted that the song Too Darn Hot was from Kismet and not Kiss Me Kate.
I missed the last train for the second night in a row. The 432 from Brixton to where I live goes every 12-15 minutes according to its timetable. On Wednesday, I waited fifteen minutes for one. Last night, one pulled up just as I reached the bus stop. Everything evens out in the end.
And talking of evening things out, the dodgeball league is now planning on replacing the finals with a mini-tournament, with teams seeded based on their league standings. This effectively negates the ten weeks of heroic effort we put in to reach the top place fnal, and puts us back at square one. We're not all happy about this.
