Quiz victory in first half (even though we had to second-guess the quizmaster and give an answer we knew was wrong), and near-miss in second (roll-over prize next time). For the record, the Gladiator was the last biplane *fighter* to enter RAF service. The last *biplane* per se was actually the Supermarine Sea Otter, in 1944.
The enquiry desk at work's been busy, but students so far in good spirits about legal research.
Going out to leaving drinks for someone at work tonight.
Currently enjoying the last few moments of my lunch-break with headphones on, a bottle of vanilla diet coke and a packet of potato snacks.
And I've been a bad, book-buying fechtbuch - Shoe Lane Library had their "£1 for a sealed bag of books by genre" offer on again, and I now have a carrier bag full of historical novels.
