Went on a Quark Xpress training course yesterday. Quite interesting, and fun to mess around with, though I think it's probably a sledgehammer to crack a walnut for our needs in the library.
Then to Alex from the softball team's leaving do, at the Sutton Arms.
This lunchtime, I was set upon by a bunch of guys doing a Guinness promotion for St Patrick's Day and all things Irish. They pressed a plastic bodhran (with Guinnness-bottle-shaped drumstick) and green shamrock sunglasses into my hands. Not surreal at all, that.
