Game night July

We knew rain was possible. "Scattered showers" and "Possible thunderstorms" is what the weather folks said. But, it wasn’t actively raining when we set off…

zosh & yebo were doing fried chicken for folks this month.
They were in process when we got there.

Maybe less colorful in visible light?

My wife got a new wrist mounted flame thrower to try.

But, the instructions were about an hour of Youtube videos that were 80% "it’s not our fault if you blow yourself or someone else up with this."

Sadly, before we could get to the part about how it works, the rain started to move in.

The parts we had viewed were very clear that you should not get your wrist mounted flamethrower wet.

So, we decided to do other fire things.

We haven’t done a fire show since March. Some of our fuel spoiled since then.

No, that’s never happened before. Don’t know what’s up with that.
We could deal with the yellow, but it didn’t burn. No idea what was going on.

But, we had other fuel…

We’re like that.

It was raining a fair bit, but not enough to stop things from burning.

palusbuteo helped us out some with the fire safety. Well, he was safe…

It was raining. How bad could it be?

Only my wife and myself did anything with it.
And, as soon as we stopped the rain went away and the moon came out.

Everyone went in for desert.

There was a small game avalanche. I guess they were jealous of folks being outside for fire…

We played "Ark of the Covenant". It’s a lot like Carcassonne.

There was a mix up with the tiles at the end. Who knows why. But, it got someone a lot of extra points. I won’t say who…

Then we played Imperial Settlers.

Took almost an hour just to get through the instructions.

But, we think we figured it out.

It’s that video again:
