Cheap clothes! D:
I'm on a very limited income (social security disability) and need some clothes. It is hard for me to get around to stores, and the plus size picking here in Tampa are slim. I need a few nicer, but still casual outfits for a trip I am taking in May to attend my best friend's wedding. I need something for the rehearsal dinner at a local casual sushi place, and a few other nice but casual pieces. My problem is, most of my clothes are t-shirts and yoga pants because it is really all my local Walmart has. I'm looking at around $50 for 2 nice outfits. Where do you get all your reasonably priced clothes? I'm going to need to restock my wardrobe soon after losing 40lbs. I am a size 26 on top, and a 24 on bottom, but can squeeze in to a 20/22 if the pants are a stretchy material.
The only real specifics I need is a black dress. I have this outfit for the rehearsal dinner planned out in my head. I purchased these dark purple and green snakeskin leggings at Fashion to Figure the last time I was in NY several years ago, and they happen to still fit, so I was hoping to wear these under a black dress, with some black flats for the rehearsal dinner. I prefer empire wastes on my dresses, but am flexible. Shorter sleeves are preferred, but no sleeveless dresses please.
