First of all: he's okay.
Got news today that my friend Sarge got injured in Iraq. All I really know is that a car bomb went off and he got some burns and shrapnel on his side. He's been on his second tour for almost a year and had two weeks left. But he's on his way home a little sooner than planned now. :P I'm sure his family and fiance are freaking out more than anybody (she's a sweetheart). But it's still really weird and scary for me. He really is a nice guy. Likes Firefly and just wants to get married and teach. I know several people who have been over and back and thankfully nobody's been hurt yet. I do believe troops are doing good things over there (he mostly does community development) but I'm long since ready for this to be over even though I know it's something that's a long time from going away.
