First of all: he's okay.

Got news today that my friend Sarge got injured in Iraq.  All I really know is that a car bomb went off and he got some burns and shrapnel on his side.   He's been on his second tour for almost a year and had two weeks left.  But he's on his way home a little sooner than planned now.  :P  I'm sure his family and fiance are

Yikes, I'm so glad he's okay!!! I hope he doesn't have to ever go back.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this was it for him. He did a certain-time-spent pays for college deal or something.

Glad to hear it sounds like he's okay. Hope he stays home safe for good.

Yeah, I heard he needed some surgery but he's in recovery and doing good. Pretty sure this was his last two weeks in the Army. :P

Yeah, your mind really does go straight to the people you know when it comes up. He's alright, everyone's just kind of like "eeesh, too close!"

Thanks, I'm pretty sure this was it for him even if he hadn't been injured. He just couldn't stay out of trouble for a few more weeks. :P
