I am now a proud owner of a little tarantula! 
It's a Lasiodora Striatipes (Bahia Grey Birdeater).

It's only about an inch long, but I thought it a better choice than getting a spiderling which was tiny and I'll probably end up losing. In a year though, my little guy will be as big as my palm!

 I caught Mikan, I CAUGHT THE LITTLE BASTARD!!!! *fist-pump* RAWR

Somehow he climbed onto my dresser and I caught him by the tail. :D

I practically dashed across the room to get to the cage (almost tripped in the process too) and poor Mikan, as soon as he got in, he dived for the food, bless!

I realized it this morning, when I saw a flash of white across my floor when I was in bed...

I chased him but he is much too fast and too little.

It doesn't help that my room is quite dark, and there's so many places where he could hide, and places where I can't quite reach.

Sooooo I sneaked some photos. But boy, it was not easy. Most of the ones I took were a blurry and fuzzy because Mikan and Momo are hyper little fuckers. But here are some!
