First pair of Kolenya
Yes, my first pair of modified Kolenya was finished yesterday morning and I had been wearing them all day. Yes, FIRST pair because there's a SECOND pair coming! ;) Don't you just LOVE the colourway???? It reminds me of moss and earth, clear running water and blue sky. For some reason, the word 'Norway' comes to mind, even though I've never been there before.
Of course, they are modified, I left out the crocheted bridges and made it shorter. Maybe I'll make the second pair a bit longer. We'll see.
Had a great day yesterday! First I went to meet up with Celina from the Stitch 'N Bitch group. She needed to get some more yarn for her project. And we then ended up going to Starbucks and had our own little SnB session there. We were about 5 hours there just talking and knitting. I taught her to knit in the round with dpns!
After that we went to the ToyTowners' Curry Night. There's a small clip towards the end of the video. Loads of great fun!
Nothing much to write. I'll probably have to get myself ready soon as I plan to meet up with some of the SnBers again today. ;)
