After the events of the past week Wilson had handwavey taken his tea last night and gone to bed.

This morning, in an effort to recapture some sense of normalacy he was down at the Perk enjoying a gingerbread latte as he worked on a write up of the past week's events for his own personal journals.

Christian was upset when he found out one of the kids had died the day before and was pissed at himself for taking the day off. Aziraphale hadn't yet had the chance to talk to Wilson, since his date on Monday with a certain Adversary. But he didn't need to do that to know something was up. Aziraphale wandered in to get things ready the night, noting that things were as spotless as they usually were, and considering joining Musubi in her quest to mess the place up just to have something to do of an evening.

After the past weekend, the town seemed very quiet. Aziraphale figured it would be another quiet night at the Nest as well, so he decided not to bother with drink specials.

Instead, there was a FIRST DRINK FREE special for anyone who had family visiting over the weekend. Aziraphale figured they probably deserved it.

It was parents weekend, which in Aziraphale's mind meant the night would either be silent as a tomb while everyone was visiting with their guests, or full of people looking to hide from their guests ( Read more... )

Suppressing the urge to stay home and snuggle in the study all night, Aziraphale headed down to the Devil's Nest to open the club for the evening. He'd missed one shift already, it wouldn't do to miss a second.

Aziraphale was a little sad to see that all of his wee origami turkeys had disappeared. No matter, though. He had plenty of time on his hands, and had brought along some craft paper.

Once the drink specials were written up, he sat on a stool behind the bar and set about making wee origami vultures.
