Leto was here, children in tow. Because what better way to keep young Fremen occupied than make them practise fighting. It was however requiring a lot of his attention to keep an eye on them, which meant he might have to give up the idea of any sparring himself, unless he could hand over responsibility.
Dinah wandered over to say hi, and leaned against the wall. "Okay, I'm losing track. Jess has been chattering about Victoria, but are some of those other blue-eyed kids yours, and not Professor Atreides'?"
There's the punching bags, well-padded mats, and a large ball pit. Go play King of the Mountain or something, and don't bother the adults unless someone breaks an arm.

It had been a tough call, choosing between punching little boys like her parents had taught her or playing, but so far as Ruba was concerned there would always be little boys to punch. Ball pits, on the other hand, were something to be appreciated while they were there!
And that was why she was making a running leap at the ball pit, giggling and waving at the other girl who was there.
This week, the same punching dummies set-up for the children are also available for the bigger kids, so that they can practice their punching with glee!

After getting a subtle nod from Ghanima, Elaine stepped up to the mats to find a partner.
While she wasn't pre-born like her mother, she was still Fremen and trained by the Aryeh of Atreides. Taking down an adult unarmed would be a challenge, but not impossible.

Rede had stood by Reno's side, silently watching what was going on right up until Reno had given him the go-ahead to join the sparring matches. He tried his best not to look too proud of himself as he stepped up to the mats. It wasn't that he was cocky, no. It was just that Reno giving him permission meant that the older Turk had faith in him.
And that was why he was smiling happily as he walked up to the girl on the mat.

Elaine just smirked slightly at the boy as she confidently stepped out on to the mats. "I don't know," she called over her shoulder. "Think you can keep up?"

Much like his mom, too, he didn't look like he was having fun, even though he was.
