What's the limit for how new something has to be to be considered spoilers? I've been working my way through Torchwood now that they've put it On Demand and I've seen the Series 1/Series 2 DW episodes that involve them, so that I can understand what's going on, and I had no clue what happened at the end of the third series of TW.

Third series being Children of Earth, or are you referencing the Ianto secret? Because if you're referencing Ianto, I don't think it's fair to say it's spoiling.. otherwise the SPN crying secret up there is a giant spoiler because of the picture choices, even if the deaths referenced are several seasons old.

There isn't one - spoilers are (only) marked if the OP wants them marked. Setting a specific time limit would force me to pretty much look up every series to make sure they fit/don't fit within that time limit and that'd be incredibly time consuming.

Okay, this is on my list of things I want to do before I die.
