Another 'take it to comments' secret. So what makes a submission 'not a secret' vs 'take it to comments?'

When a secret is a direct reply to a previous secret, it's a "take it to the comments" secret.

Pretty much this, yeah. That's what the comment threads are for, and all!

Not to nitpick, but the question mark goes outside the quote mark since "take it to comments" is part of the question, not the question.

(I see people do that and I can't believe they don't realize how wrong it looks.)

That is nitpicking.

da

Don't you know, it doesn't count if you acknowledge that you're doing the thing you're not doing?

The way I see it is that exclamation points and question marks are "big" punctuation marks and therefore go outside the quotation marks, and commas and periods are "small" and fit inside the quotation marks.

I realize that's not the real logic behind whether or not something is enclosed within quotation marks, but it helps me.

I'm curious about the seven troll secrets?

Me too. Given the number of secrets that get through which seem likely to be trolls, what sets the fail-barred troll secrets apart?

Mostly Darth Vader, and several that had the same phrase pasted over different pictures. Usually I won't judge things to be trolls due to content, but 5 secrets about the same subject moves it into "spam."

Ah.

(what subject/fandom?)

Star Wars?

And I'd rather not say, it might encourage people if other people found the repeated joke funny or something. Funny or not, it's still spam.

I meant the fandom of the non-vader sexual, but fair enough.

I'm just being a nosey bastard.
