Outside the Danger Room, 7th period

Holding a large stick with a piece of poster board attached wasn't the easiest thing to do with one hand. Which meant that Blair's big protest sign today spent a lot of time leaning on the walk next to him when his arm got too achy.

He felt bad though and intermittently would call out the sign's message loudly. "Give Peace a Chance!"

Bel grinned at Blair as he approached the danger room. "How goes the protest?" he asked.

"It's going, man." Blair didn't bother to pick up the sign for Bel and just waved. "My sign is much less offensive this time."

"Gonna join my demon support club if I get permission from the school to create it?" Bel asked.

"Are you kidding me, man?" Blair bounced. "I'm so up for that!"

"Give peace a chance?" Jim repeated as he headed for class. "Around here?"

"Around here, especially." Blair nodded, holding the sign with his good hand.

Jim shook his head. "Any luck so far?"

"Of giving peace a chance?" Blair looked at his cast and shrugged. "Sure. Doesn't mean that you don't get your butt kicked anyway."

Conner tried to sneak past Blair and get into the classroom without being noticed and therefore called on last week's 'offer' of being an inside informant.

"Dude!" Blair waved his good hand at Conner who he totally saw. "How'd it go last week?"

Conner facepalmed, mentally. "It went okay," he said cautiously. "We really didn't do too much except the intro thing. Who broke your arm?"

"Cool, cool." Blair nodded. "I'm glad I have you as my inside man. I need to know when to make the next move."

"River did, but it was totally by accident. Sorta."

[nadiathesaint]

Nadia wandered by on her way . . . well, somewhere. She looked from Blair to the sign to the door to the dangershop, and immediately came to the conclusion that the robots were attacking again.

Thus, she sat down next to Blair.

"Yeah! Peace!"

"Right on, man." Blair bounced. "Did you come to help protest?"

"Sure." Nadia paused. "What are we protesting. River? Evil robots?"

[lovechildblair]

"No, we're not protesting River." Blair said with a frown. "We're protesting hunting class."

[daemonridden]

"Blair!" Lyra called. "Hey, I was looking for you, and, uh, I forgot their name. Anyway, they handwavily told me you were here." She looked at him struggling with the sign, and looked puzzled.

"What are you doing?"

"Hey Lyra." Blair waved his good hand. "I'm protesting demon hunting."

Lyra waved back. "I see that. Do you want help?" She reached for the sign before he could pick it up again. Not that she cared about the... whatever it was he was protesting, she didn't want him hurting himself more.

"Normally I'd say yes." Blair smiled and reached out for the sign. "But the teacher of this class is not quite happy with me and I don't want you to get in trouble too."

"But I'm starting a club that's probably going to protest lots! You can join!"
