Second Floor Common Room: Saturday Afternoon

Tired, Jack wandered into the common room in search of coffee. He hadn't gotten a heck of a lot of sleep last night.

Bridge wanders in to the Common Room and grabs a seat on one of the other couches.

"Hey!" He waves cheerfully.

Jack lifted his head and waved back.

"Hey, person I don't know," he said with a smile. "I'm Jack."

"Bridge," Bridge replies. "I think I talked to you all of, um... once... last semester."

"Ah," Jack said, nodding. "I'm having a little problem with remembering last sememster. Which means I've forgotten meeting you." He sat up straighter, grinning at Bridge, "and I have to say, I think it's a terrible shame."

"Hey, more people I actually know," Xander said, ambling for a change since wander is the verb of the year in and dropping down onto the couch next to Bridge. "Does this mean I've reached newbie saturation point, or are there a bunch of 'em still hiding in their rooms so far?"

Is totally not singing The Wanderer now. Jack sat up on the couch, looking at the new guy. He suddenly missed name tag day.
"I think there's probably still a bunch wandering around. I keep seeing people I don't know. Which includes you, I'm sorry to say." Jack tapped his temple. "Memory issues."

Xander blinked, then nodded. "We didn't know each other all that well; you were in art history with me. And I knew you and Parker had a stringless kind of thing." He grinned. "We were supposed to be in the school play together before you vanishinated, but you're probably better off having missed that. Also you came onto me during your groundhog day phase and my omg I do not notice guys notnotnot phase, but I don't remember that."

"Can't say I'm sad to have missed the school play. But I hope that we might be able to rectify the 'not knowing each other well', now that I'm back," Jack replied with a broad smile. "Shall we reintroduce ourselves, just for the sake of completeness? Jack Harkness." He held out his hand. Snicker.

Max makes some popcorn and grabs a six pack of soda from the fridge. Bringing it over into the main common room area, she sits down and puts her feet up on the table.

"Hey there." Jack waved at the new girl. "I don't think we've met yet. Actually, I know we haven't met yet, because I would definitely remember you," he said with a smile. "Jack Harkness." He held out his hand.

Amused, Max grabbed his hand and said, "Max. Want some popcorn?"

Grinning, he kissed the back of her hand and said, "A pleasure to meet you, Max." Laughing, he let go of her hand. "And yes, I would. I'd love some popcorn, thank you."

Jaye spent most of her day in the fifth floor common room, and didn't die. However, she's very glad to actually see people in the second floor one. Yay normalcy.

"Officer Lion-Girl!" Bridge waves, 'cause he hasn't talked to Jaye in a while.

"Bridgey!" she greets him. "How goes it?"

"I can't decide whether I'm looking forward to having something to do during the day again, or dreading the re-emergence of school-like activities."

Rory wandered in with a huge cup of coffee, fresh from a nap. "Hi," she said to the room at large.

"Hi," Jaye greets her, maybe a little cheerfully.

"What's wrong?" Rory asked immediately.

"Oh, nothing's wrong, this school is pretty," says Jaye.
