Rory wandered in with a huge cup of coffee, fresh from a nap. "Hi," she said to the room at large.

"Hi," Jaye greets her, maybe a little cheerfully.

"What's wrong?" Rory asked immediately.

"Oh, nothing's wrong, this school is pretty," says Jaye.

"Yes, yes it is. Did you just re-meet Jack?" she asked, glancing around the common room.

"I never met him before!" she says. "And no one told me Dean looked like Alec who we're not talking about."

"Alec is like a billion kinds of pretty. Why aren't we talking about him?" Rory remarked.

"Cuz.... there... may have been a thing and he told Dean about it but whatever."

[auroryborealis]

"A thing like a...flinging thing?"

"...Maybe?"

"I am so jealous."

She felt this explained everything.

"Yuh huh," she agrees. "I may have to stop this doppleganger hookup trend, though."

Rory looked puzzled, and then got it.

"'Cause Archie but not Lee, and Cam but not John, and Alec but not Dean...." She stared at her. "Lucky."
