M frowned just a little, to convey the impression that mentoring students was an annoyance. But there was a pleased expression in her eyes that belied the frown.

Lana stopped in to tell M that Jim Mun's computer is still dead was still sick and hoped he could make up the test another time.

Krycek dropped by a written excuse. Of course, it was written by him and just said he'd try not to do it again, but it was indeed what M had asked for.

M frowned a bit, but she had to give Krycek props for abiding by the letter of her rules.

"Very well, but next time try to make it an excuse from someone with somewhat more authority," she said, slipping the paper into his student file.
