I have a problem with neglecting everything when I am depressed or feeling down.

Okay sooo I'm on another fast right now, going from Monday until Friday. I am allowed water, one diet coke a day, and green tea. Sometimes I feel so lame writing all of this and seeing almost the exact same thing written so many times in every goddamned Ana community, but you know what. I (usually) DO fulfill my goals, and they are actually important to me, I take them seriously. I can assure you almost 90% of the time I will complete my goal, and I do NOT do it just to become thin like _____(enter an all too-common Model's name), I do it for me. They make me feel complete. It's not my LIFE...it's PART of my life. It's necessary, however, to accomplish other tasks on a daily basis so I don't feel completely lost. Does that make sense? Whatever...it does to me.

And here is one of my favorite childhood stories.

----------
The House That Jack Built
------------
This is the house that Jack built.

This is the malt
That lay in the house that Jack built.

This is the rat
That ate the malt
That lay in the house that Jack built.

This is the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the house that Jack built.

This is the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the house that Jack built.

This is the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the house that Jack built.

This is the maiden all forlorn,
That milked the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the house that Jack built.

This is the man all tattered and torn,
That kissed the maiden all forlorn,
That milked the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the house that Jack built.

This is the priest all shaven and shorn,
That married the man all tattered and torn,
That kissed the maiden all forlorn,
That milked the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the house that Jack built.

This is the cock that crowed in the morn,
That waked the priest all shaven and shorn,
That married the man all tattered and torn,
That kissed the maiden all forlorn,
That milked the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the house that Jack built.

This is the farmer sowing the corn,
That kept the cock that crowed in the morn,
That waked the priest all shaven and shorn,
That married the man all tattered and torn,
That kissed the maiden all forlorn,
That milked the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the house that Jack built.
