FAM while on SSNRI meds

Glad to have found this community.

I'm about to start using FAM with the beginning of my next cycle, while I begin to titrate down on the Effexor XR 150 I'm taking, in preparation for TTC, likely in the late Summer or Autumn. I'm planning a completely medication-free month, both to see how that works for me, and to detox my body before taking on the small nine-month tenant(s). I was wondering before I begin if anyone here has charted while on the same or simiilar medications, and any effects you may have noticed. While the Effexor did cut my libido in half, I do know that I get noticeable variations in CF over the course of my cycle; I just don't know if it will have an effect on my waking temps. Also, since I'll be lowering my medication dosages every two weeks, I'm hoping my cycle won't be thrown off. (Yes, with my doc's help & complicity.)

One other concern I have is that I have frequent pre-waking nightmares which leave me with a racing pulse on waking, as though I've just sprinted a block or two. I'm wondering how this might affect my waking temperatures; two options I have would be noting those days on the chart and seeing what happens, and/or lying still and calming myself and my pulse down to normal before taking my temp.

Thoughts on any or all of the above?

In case anyone's curious, I have post-traumatic stress disorder from severe child abuse throughout my childhood and teenaged years (I'm 31 now); the medication was in place to cut down on chronic anxiety so that I could do the root cause work to experience my true emotions and learn how to cope with them. I'm in great shape now and anticipate I will have easily manageable anxiety once off the medication (and yes, postpartum may be a different story entirely). But I'm extremely high functioning, to the point that only those very close to me can perceive when I'm feeling anxious unless I tell them so.

Thanks for any insights you can offer.
