I started running today for the first time in...ummm years?
I bought running sneakers at the beginning of spring and they sat in the closet until this morning.
After my run, I had so much energy it was awesome!

Well, just as I was beginning to itch for a new Bowie album, looks like I will have to sit tight and wait patiently. David Bowie has announced that he will be taking the rest of the year off from making an album, touring and doing anything that David Bowie would normally do. If you know anything about me currently, then you will know that I have two enemies - germs and spiders. Today, it is the latter that is driving me a bit mad. I am tracking the whereabouts of two spiders that I located in my home yesterday - one is hanging out on the mudroom ceiling and the other is running laps on the upstairs hallway ceiling. i got fitted for my bridesmaid dress last night hopefully we won't have to wear those ugly dyed shoes.

after much consideration, i have concluded that cloning my niece is a very good idea. she is brilliant. it was during mine and rebecca's birthday dinner yesterday that i decided this. first of all, she reads like i've never seen a 5 year old read before. i dont even remember being able to read when i was 5. secondly, she ordered schrimp scampi.
