KKM novel 1: ch10 - translation [only a section]
I finally found a website with the translations of all/most of the Kyou Kara Mou novel chapters. My Chinese sucks donkey's ass and I can't be asked to read thoroughly through all of it. But some Wolfram (and Yuuri) scenes are just so cute! This is one =33
My Chinese really is frightfully bad, but luckily my English is decent. So I hope this will be okay :) I did try to keep the words as close to their originals as possible...
Set just before the Maou initiation ceremony (in episode 3). They omitted this part out in the anime!! I thought it was adorable...

[NOTE: I do believe the entire novel is written pretty much in Yuuri's POV, so "I" would indicate Yuuri referring to himself.]
From the other side of the corridor, an elegant blonde walked over. He is dressed in a deep blue formal outifit, the enchanting Mazoku prince: Wolfram. "I suppose what they mean by bishounens are people like him..." I sighed, muterring to myself.
"You're wearing something that shabby?"
"Ah!"
"I'd have expected nothing less from your majesty's personally-fitted outfit, nothing is more appropriate than your original black uniform." I was just praised this way... [I'm guessing, by Gunter!]
"No badge or accessories... as someone who will become a king, how can you wear such shabby clothes!"
He didn't glance at me once, gazes wavering and unstill. Maybe I was thinking too much, but his normally white porcelain cheeks were actually faintly tinted with red!
"Don't wear something that gives no indication of wealth or status, and humiliate my brother and I!"
Just when I opened my mouth to argue back, Wolfram drew back my chest [I think it means collar really] and attached a shiny golden brooch.
"Ah!"
"This is something my Uncle von Bieleford gave me when I was little... Although it doesn't have any special abilities, to someone who has yet to do anything, to someone who hasn't even stepped onto a battlefied, this kind of thing is the most suitable! Yuuri is a cannot-ride-a-horse, the world's worst, wimpy king!"
"Don't call me a wimp!"
"Good... it looks pretty good."
Wolfram finished speaking at an unnaturally fast rate, and hurriedly jogged away. The gift on my chest is a golden bird with wings outstretched. Conrad watched his brother leave with a satisfied expression.
"It seems that Wolfram is quite fond of your majesty."

Then Yuuri tried to changed the subject and opened the door... and we all know what happened from there :D
Edit: In chapter 11, Yuuri was awoken very hurriedly for a meeting (the one before they set off to find Morgif). Wolfram asked him why he wasn't wearing the brooch, but still kept the pendent Conrad gave him...
Random, but I did feel like whacking Yuuri on the head.

I'm posting this on my journal because it's easier to keep tabs on it, hope nobody minds... This will be kept public after all.
Oh, and as this did take a surprisingly long time (my Chinese really has deteriorated), please do not claim any translation as your own. Also, I'd be happy to discuss any misinterpretations on my part :)
If enough people show interest, I'd be happy to translate more scenes or any other bits and pieces. We need more KKM!!! ^_^
