They had been staking out this comedy club for hours when their suspect appeared carrying a trunk. Colby winced, as he stood, having tripped over the trunk while tackling the fleeing man. Turning from putting the suspect into the vehicle, David saw Colby shaking, staring at the open trunk like something in it would jump up and bite him.
David, still laughing, packed Colby into the car. "I can't believe you're scared of-"
"Don't say it. They're creepy fucks, scared me since I was little."
"But dummies?!"
Colby just sat there trying to contain the shuddering. David continued to laugh.
