Holy Darkness, you guys, I think I just had something of a revelation. Why do these things always happen at three in the morning?

I think the only thing I can say about last night is that it was a triumph in absolutely every way that I cared about. The gig setup went amazingly smoothly, we got a proper soundcheck, good sound, even a rider with really good sandwiches and coke and jaffa cakes (thank you for everything, gheldor!) This post is for everyone reading who has ever donated to the Rath Tattoo Fund over the last couple of years, when you've asked me what I wanted for my birthday/Christmas/whatever and I've said "tattoo money, please!" I know it's been a while coming (I was saving up), but I wanted to say thank you, and to show you where it all finally went!
