TV woes
Dear lord, the evil tv network officials are taking Jericho, Studio 60 & Veronica Mars off of the air and replacing them with total crap. That's like half of the intelligent programming axed right there. Thank god BSG, Eureka, Dexter and House are all still kicking or I'll have nothing to watch!
I am highly amused by the fans of Jericho. Jake, the main character of Jericho, responds to a demand for surrender by a rival town in the season finale with "nuts!". This quote is apparantly borrowed from a US General who said this to a Nazi commander during WWII. It stands for "not understanding terms of surrender." Anyway, the fans of Jericho have taken to shipping literally thousands of pounds of nuts to the CBS headquaters. Way to mount an unusual campaign guys!
(memo to me: keep an eye on Journeyman. lead's the hot brit from Rome)
(edit: I stumbled across another show with potential, ABC's Traveler. The pilot, available online, is spectacular. The writers managed to put a lot of characterization in a 45 min show dominated by the aftermath of a terrorist act and the hapless leads fleeing the police. That alone deserves some kind of award.)
