Burning Man is granting me $500 to bring my sarcastic vision to the playa.
That's $500 plus tickets for me and my "crew".
So now I just have to make it... I guess I'd better get started.

The basic story- I made Ben an action figure of his character Sir Reginald.

The less basic- It's really hard to find a nice suit in the 1:6 scale. After a long search I settled on a collectors Henry Higgins Ken doll and stripped him.

I just stumbled upon Vicki Berndt's Etsy shop (click the dear Keane-style Mary).
How lovely. I hope she does more research into the saints and uses some of the fabulous imagery out there like Pierre et Gilles have done to sparkley gorgeous wonderfulness. I'd love to have one of her paintings but will settle for a calendar, but which one?!
