Things that made me happy today (part three)
* Pride and Prejudice (2005) was on! I hadn't seen it since it was in theatres more than two years ago. Back then I thought it was utterly horrible, what with being an ardent Austenite and not a big fan of Keira Knightley. But I'm quite fond of it right now (though not as much as the miniseries obviously♥) and I think I have Matthew Mcfadden to thank for it. He has really grown on me since I've seen him in Little Dorrit as Arthur, where he's just plain lovely and kind and handsome. Also, because I had been ignoring the film until now, I had no idea I would see so many familiar faces, such as Simon Woods (the dashing Dr. Harrison in Cranford and Penelope Wilton (Harriet Jones - MP Flydale North).
* One of my cousins is going to study in Geneva next semester and he's looking for someone to rent his room until the end of the year. Since I'm dying to return to my uni town, this is music to my ears. Incidentally, his landlady is my old professor of European literature. How cool is that?!
And apparently, my school is under attack by the Hepatitis-A virus. A student caught it and there's no way telling if he has been passing it on. So...yeah. The good news is that there are now free hep-A vaccinations for everyone! Hurray!
