Things that made me happy today (part two)
* Having dinner with the family, my grandmother, my uncle, aunt and cousins in a nice restaurant in Leuven.
* Receiving an email of my school in which they asked me to renew my contract! This was supposed to be my last week at the school, because I was only substituting for two months. So who knows, maybe they've found me another job so I can start again soon.
* Rewatching episode five of Merlin and laughing my ass off with Arthur's reaction when he first hears Lancelot's name: "Lance-a-lot?"
I'm not too happy about my sore throat, though. Nearly everyone in my flist has been complaining about illness and booboos due to the cold weather, and now it seems that it has caught up with me at last.
It's funny how I always change my mind about which affliction is most annoying. Whenever I catch a cold, I'm running around complaining that a runny nose is the worst punishment EVER, whereas now a sore throat seems much worse because of the nagging pain and the absence of anything more effective than mere pain killers.
Incidentally, as I was rewatching the Lancelot episode I totally had the impression that Lancelot had developed a romantic relationship with both Merlin and Arthur during his stay at Camelot, and possibly had sex with them as well. Anyone else got that vibe too?
Oh, and the broomstick fight between Arthur and Lancelot was totally hot.
