About Belle and having her declawed...
I know what it means to have her declawed. Been there, done that (with two other cats). I understand that it's cruel and whatnot, blah blah blah. That being said, understand that we rent our lovely house and in order for us to be allowed to have a pet the terms were that the kitten be declawed. Also it's for the girls' safety as well. Ariel already is scratched all over the place and that's just from normal playing. Belle will be strictly an indoor cat and we are only declawing her front paws. It has nothing to do with us being lazy and not training her properly or worrying about our lovely "hand-me-down" furniture getting shredded to say the least.
End of story. Surgery is set for June.
