STOP!!
Take at least a minute to fully appreciate my kick ass new icon. :D
It's been a fun day. I actually got homework accomplished and turned in on time. G approved my prospectus for seminar, which is amazing. I was on time for my 8am class (which is a rarity). Personally, I think Nathan and I did a kick ass job with our "Rocky" scene. The whole class thought we were really going to kiss and Mike Ritter (our director) apologized for breaking our "tender moment" together. I'm working with Alex in my last scene and I honestly don't remember the name of my new director. He's a Heid.
Speaking of Heids, today was Greek Open House. I went up to AP Hall for a while to hang out with the guys. We had fun. Then I went downstairs to the Rho classroom and spent time with the other guys. The Rho's are absolute sweethearts, for the most part...especially Dan. They're a great group of guys and I am so entirely supportive of their fraternity. Dan told me that "50 years from now, I was here when the Rho's got started." He keeps talking about scenes and everything. I really want to get stated. Can anyone think of a good scene for Dan and me?
Collegians had our dress tech today. We got to put on our sparkly red dresses and spankies. The dresses are a lot of fun and much nicer than the white ones. The rehearsal went pretty well. We decided to keep our choreography that Lin had changed in "Do You Love Me?" which makes me happy. Lin changed our "general mayhem" to "organized chaos." Now people get to swing dance and Jeremy still gets to lift me down, which I honestly think is a cute touch. (And, speaking of Jeremy, we're making slow and steady progress. We had teeny-tiny conversations...all started by me, of course. But he did actually ask me when tech started tomorrow. Like, he recognized me as a person. Now at least we know that he's more human than Abby, who still refuses to acknowledge my existence.)
Jonathon came up tonight to visit. He was there for the Collegians run and got to talk to Brian and Patrick (who was doing homework) and finally got to see the guy I've been complaining about to him for the past week. Since we couldn't go to Halloweekends, we ran out to get dinner and joined the rest of the campus in seeing the mentalist, Wayne Hoffman. This guy was incredible! Lots of great tricks...some obviously fake, but it was a lot of fun. He did stuff with my triplets, Emily and Elizabeth, which got everyone happy. And Seth came by again to visit, which was nice.
Tomorrow is Tech Saturday for "South Pacific." My camera is charged and I am ready to paint. I'm breaking out my RENT pants just for the occasion.
