Dirty old man: the Sequel

Yesterday I got another mail from my ex-colleague that recently decided to behave somewhat creepy (see previous post). It truly was the oddest thing. He says he didn't fully think things through before replying to my mail (in which I told him his behavior was inappropriate) and now decides to retract everything he said in his earlier reply and own up to the things he did wrong.

To be honest, I find this sudden epiphany rather strange. If he'd replied to me this way the first time, I'd probably have believed him, that he'd just let himself get carried away and hadn't realized how inappropriate he was being. However, everything he now says is almost the complete opposite of what he said in his first, and probably truest, reply. And everything is a bit too much what I'd wanted to hear, if you know what I mean.

Or perhaps he found my LiveJournal and read my previous post. Eeeek! Don't think so, but I really hope that's not the case.

This is what I think: that his sudden change of heart has more to do with me not replying to his earlier mail and he figured it was best to try a different approach to get a reply out of me. *snorts derisively*

However, I am hoping a little of what he says is true and that he'll back off from now on.

Edit: Fuck. I think it might actually be the case that he's found my journal and read what's posted before. I'm still hoping it's not, but if you google 'FaintingFancy', this page is right at the top of the list. Bwech.

Yes, I know it's not exactly smart to use the same name on your e-mail address as you do on your LJ. But usually when I decide to give someone my e-mail address, I tend think they're trustworthy!
