Anyone got some DC recs? I don't care about Batman or Superman, but anything else would be great.

I like the current Batwoman series a lot. I'm not reading any of the other ongoings rn, but I can rec you stuff that's collected in trades. I really like Batwoman: Elegy, Batgirl/Robin: Year One, JLA: A League of One (which is really a Wonder Woman story), Wonder Woman: The Hiketeia, both volumes of Wonder Woman: Odyssey, Birds of Prey: Trouble in Mind (although the series goes downhill after that), and Supergirl: Last Daughter of Krypton. Any of those would be fairly reasonable starting places, I think.

I also love love love Stephanie Brown's Batgirl series but all but the third trade are currently out of print. You can get the relevant digital issues on Comixology, though--that's what I did.

Brubaker's Catwoman run as well as "Catwoman: When in Rome" are great, Amanda Conner's Power Girl run (that has just been republished under the title "Power Trip") is a lot of fun, and I really loved Batwoman: Elegy.

Read The Lonely King by corilannam from a rec here on-meme and it was really good. Modern AU Merlin/Arthur.

EXCEPT: the very final couple of lines. Argh! I'm an anti-monarchist, and that really bugged even me! PDA in inappropriate places: DNW, whatever your orientation.

It's a shame, because that's what I left the fic with after all that lovely storytelling.

Anyone read the Attack on Titan fic Parasitoid? A mpreg Armin/Eren fic. I saw it bashed on Tumblr for being "fucked up" (I think it was bashed? Tumblr hyperbole confuses me), but it definitely read more tragedy than horror to me. Not entirely sure what to think.

All the talk of soulmate/soulbond fics in the last couple of posts has made me want recs for a very specific type of this genre. I'm interested in recs for soulbond aus in which the characters discover they are soulmates with their enemies/someone they hate, with an emphasis on how they deal with that.

I'm not fussy about the pairing or fandom, although I'd prefer it not to be incest pairings.

Hockey RPF, Andrew Ladd / Ryan Kesler, main story + sequel set a year or two later:

Backstory: at the time the first fic is set, Ladd & Kesler played for fierce rivals (Chicago Blackhawks and Vancouver Canucks, respectively), and had both fought each other on the ice and said nasty things about each other to the media. Some glorious hatesex fic resulted for this pairing, if you want more along these lines.
