More breaking of cardinal rules / sheet music

Ok, more on the Ernie retrospective theme as I keep tip-tap-typing away getting my material uploaded...

Rule #2: Never write songs about horrifying world events. Songs about starving children and genocide and holocausts....

How many horrifyingly bad songs did you hear after 9/11.

And yet I wrote one.

Of course you wouldn't know it's about that unless I told you. I wanted to write something hopeful, and yet with the knowledge that to have hope sometimes you just have to outright lie to yourself. Like we've all been doing for 8 years now.

It came across like a bombastic Disney song.

But hey... I'm actually kind of fond of it. And two other people have recorded it so it can't be _that_ bad.

One Perfect Day

Oh and if you go to my sight and notice the new snazzy rounded smooth-curved headers and footers, special thanks to chrisglass for that!

I'm having a dilemma about my sheet music. I designed this site so it would be available for download. And I don't mind giving it away. 5 dollars here, 5 dollars there... it's just unmanageable... but I should keep track in some way of who downloads what...

Now I have to rethink my information architecture and decide on how to deal with this... or if I should care at all.
