Happy May Day/Beltane/Lei Day/May
I can't believe it's May! I am officially spooked.
Here are some things I'm happy about today:
1. It's thundering beautifully.
Perfect. Brett's off to cash a check with my awesome bright red umbrella.
2. WE ARE MOVED OUT OF THAT SHITTY APARTMENT.
I can't believe they can get away with treating their tenants so poorly. They make me so angry.
Never again the Boardwalk Apartment times.
3. I GOT 71% IN MY PHILOSOPHY CLASS. HOLY CRAP. HOW I MANAGED THAT I WILL NEVER, EVER KNOW. I honestly went to only 1/3rd of my classes because my classmates were assholes. Every time I did go to class, there was always something ignorant/racist said and I'd be sitting in the front of the class fuming the entire time, unable to concentrate. I learned much more in self-directed learning. I did like the prof, though. Poor guy.
Never again the 100 level class times.
4. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I NEVER EVER THOUGHT I'D FIND THIS BRIAN FROUD/DE LINT BOOK. This is an absolute TREASURE.
There are full colour pages of Froud art, and it's in perfect condition. Probably one of the better book finds I've had in a while. It was only $4, and the Goddess book $5. I have the companion book The Goddess Path. Awesome.
5. INTENSE CAT CUDDLES UGUUUUU.
6. STUDIO GHIBLI MARATHON.
We are watching Ponyo and Princess Mononoke tonight. I really don't enjoy watching movies. IDK, I just don't. I get bored very quickly, so to watch more than one movie in a night is a big deal for me, especially if I watch them and not want to run away and do something else. I forgot how much I adore them! ♥
7. Bird sanctuary opens to visitors today! I'm obviously not going today, but in the future. Also, things are turning green!
Not so happy: I broke my phone. ): But it's okay, my contract is up and it was a piece of crap anyway.
I lol'd when I saw this.
I love tempeh so much but it's so expensive. Boo.
I have no idea what I did but it looks cool.
Last thing. Have any of you ever ordered from Thriftbooks.com? I'm 99% sure it's trustworthy, but I just want to know your experiences if you have any.
Note: I obviously care very little for the "shape" my books are in as long as the pages are intact and they're not "collectables". I mean, 70% of my books come from library book sales!
