I am in the Army now. I signed my contract and was sworn in this afternoon. I don't actually ship out until 04 February 2008, but the U.S. Army officially owns my life for the next eight years (five of which are inactive Reserves, so please don't freak out ( Read more... )

Brain = mush. Spent my last two and a half hours at work trying to make sense of the numbers on an operating expense reconciliation. If I have to spend more than a half-hour on any one pay request, my brain dies. Two and a half hours is just obscene ( Read more... )

Today has been a shocking improvement over yesterday. I was actually busy (!) at work, in a steady, not rushed, but not too much downtime way. And even better, they asked if I could come in tomorrow, too!
