Last night Adam and I had a craft date which was really nice. I ran up some outlines on the sewing machine while he did some dishes, then I cooked dinner and we watched Thor and Game of Thrones ep 1 and 2 while I sewed more leather grommets on the tent and he did some rope work. He also pulled out his half-finished diddy bag from ages ago and asked my advice about trimming the excess. I looked at it and literally WTF'd, and then ripped the seam open in front of him. The hurt puppydog look on Adam's face was hilariously gutwrenching, because he'd actually sewn it labouriously by hand himself... but had sewn the wrong pieces together so it wasn't square. It's OK, I fixed it for him :)
And the good news has been rolling in this week. I've progressed to second stage for both the grad programs I applied for (Hooray, my credit average Arts degree is worth something after all!), I did an online written assessment for Finance yesterday and DHS will be calling me for a phone interview sometime soon. I also got my Lit review back from my Workshop class on Tuesday and scored another HD :D Tony has started giving us percentile marks as well, so I know I'm only just scraping above the line, but a HD is a HD. Hurrah!
