Matt is like the sweetest thing....this is the first time out the of the three shows that I've attended that I got to talk to him. What a dear one!
Boy am I glad we drove all that way.
We gave Tomo and Jared almost 20 minutes....and it had started to spit rain....and we'd been up since 3:30am and 4am....and it was after midnight....so we left. When we pulled out of the parking lot....they were standing there. So I smiled and waved at Jared, cause he was looking at our car, and he smiled back before turning to do a picture with Tomo and some girl. *sigh* I love the way he looks at me. At the Recher and here....it's almost like he remembers me.
Shannon did....he kind of paused before I walked over to him....which I think is why he messed with me. :) I love him....I really do. He is just the nicest guy and a fucking animal on the kit. I could see him really well tonight because we were elevated....goddamn. I was always too short to anything but glimpses at the other shows.
Seeing that in person is much better then any video or live performance recording can ever show.
And I've gotta go. They're probably tracking my access here at the Hilton....wouldn't put it past them. If you're ever in Knoxville, fork over the cash to stay here....it's amazing. The lobby is what I want my house to look like....for real. I told mom....'I always wanted a two floor library in my future house....and this is how it will look. With that staircase and those couches....hell yeah!'
