Synecdoche didn't receive any Oscar nominations.
I just don't understand why the academy often misses really brilliant and influential movies. I mean, the Coen brothers consistently put out excellent films and I believe they've only been recognized for Fargo and No Country. Lynch has never won an award, which is ridiculous.
I'm starting to respect the Golden Globes more. At least they don't turn on the music in the middle of the acceptance speeches.
