So, I have to post about Thursday. My day was so bad it was almost hilarious.

Everything was mostly my fault. I left the house to go take a calc test. My car was basically out of gas but it was raining hard, so I just drove to campus. After about five minutes, my car started sputtering and I realized that I really should've gotten gas, lol.

So I'm driving down Lamar, desperately searching for a gas station when my car completely gives up. There is a lot of traffic. I didn't want to stay in the car in case someone hit it, so I turned on the hazards and started walking to where I thought the nearest gas station was. It was still raining, but luckily I had an umbrella. I called the police non-emergency number, and the guy tells me that they can't do anything and that I should try the roadside assistance number on the back of my license. I call them, and they say that they can't do anything inside city limits and that I should call the police.

*sigh*

While all this is happening, I realize that there is no point in trying to get a gas can until after my car has been moved (the gas goes into the driver's side so unless my car was moved, I would have to stand in the middle of the busy road) so I walked back to my car. Luckily there was already a cop parked behind me by the time I got back. I told him what happened with the police over the phone and he just sighed and rolled his eyes, lol. He and another cop ended up pushing my car with their patrol car into a parking lot. I was pretty upset and embarrassed but they were really nice, so that made me feel a little better.

After my car was out of the road, I walked towards what I thought was a gas station. Apparently that place doesn't sell gas anymore. The only other place I knew of was a 7-11 about 20 minutes away. I really didn't feel like walking all the way over there because it was still raining and I had stopped using my umbrella because it kept catching my hair. I thought about calling my parents to pick me up but my cell phone was dead and I didn't have any cash for a pay phone. So.. 20 minutes later the clerk at 7-11 is telling me that they don't sell gas cans. Muhhhhhh. I got some cash out of their ATM so I could buy something and use the change to call my parents.

Luckily the creepiest guy ever was working there, and somehow did not notice that I was soaking wet and pissed off. I bought a small drink and he gave me my change as slowly as possible, staring at me and smiling (*shudder*). Then I asked for a dollar in change. He looked at me, smiled again, and said: "Only if you say please." Is that supposed to be cute or funny or something? My first instinct was to punch him in the mouth but I had enough self control to smile and say please. Then I went outside to use the payphone, and he conveniently took his cigarette break within earshot. Maybe I'm just paranoid though...

I called my dad, he picked me up and got gas for my car. I'm putting the calc test off until monday. Basically, I'm never letting my car get low on gas again. O_O
