Today was the coolest day! Not temperature-wise, because it is still fucking hot. But the Art Museum has a bunch of china it's getting rid of, and they called Holly to see if the museum is interested in it, so I got to over with her and check it out. Most of it has been taken up by my starting my internship at the museum, it being a for reals internship thing this year instead of being a volunteer who ends up coming in four days a week to catalogue the dress collection which she's technically not supposed to be in alone. Yesterday I started cataloging the museum's women's clothing collection. Meaning, I started photographing and putting into the system dresses from the 1740s until, well, the 1850s so far.
