(no subject)
We put Alex and Meg in the bath together on tuesday night, and Alex was getting very confused by the presence of extra feet and legs in his bath, it was very cute! He also managed to sit himself up for the first time, in pursuit of my mug of tea.
On Thursday we didn't do much beyond go for a walk, but Alex did manage to get himself wedged in the gap between the sofa and the chair, and the only way he could have done that was by backing into it, so the crawling may be about to start! At the moment he is getting annoyed and frustrated that when he tries to get something he ends up backing away from it, but he'll work it out!
On Friday we went to Kindermusic for the first time with Izzy and Freddie. Alex seems to enjoy it, although I think they move through the toys a bit fast for his liking! Next week we will take singing Granny with us, as she will be around, and she will love it. After Kindermusic we went home briefly, then went to creepy crawlies for an NCT do, and I think 2 things in one day was too much as Alex spent the afternoon tired and yelling and wouldn't settle in the evening, so as a result my packing for the weekend was crap! Oh well, at least I got the big pram up to Levisham, which is far better for here as it has larger wheels, as proved by a walk along the forest drive with Mum and Lib, no its no longer solid ice. Alex has also been in the next size, front facing, car seat, and he seems happier with more view as well as more space.
