i finished (almost)a bag/satchel/ container thing in class today. (still need to slip stitch shut the open section)
whats sad is it feels like rather an achievement, which shows how far backward my skills have fallen. i used to be able to sew without even thinking about it much, not having to double and triple check simple stuff.
ah well, thats one reason i went back to school.
now in my defense, i was using an industrial sewing machine.. which is an ENTIRELY different animal than a home sewing machine.
i MAY find some more fabric and make another one just to burn the industrial sewing machine usage into my brain.
