boy, this could either be great. or awful....
so i have this project that is due next week, but i wont be here. so i have to have it done by Friday.......and i kind of went overboard
the thing to bear in mind is that there are technically TWO assignments, one for Fashion design Majors (waves) and one for Fashion Marketing majors. So, officially all i HAVE to do is:
pick a time period (Rococo)
use that time period IN SOME WAY for inspiration
design two items for women, two for men, two for kids.
(it is unclear whether thats two complete outfits, or two ITEMS... i did outfits)
so. i did that.
in fact i did two men, two kids, and three women's designs....and am working on a few accessories....
and then , bearing in mind that i am the one who designed the packaging and business card and brochures and etc for both Aphrodite's Dove and Fabric Dragon... i went on to the OTHER assignment, the one i dont have to do: the one for marketing.
where the assignment was to design a logo, and bag or packaging and etc for a store based on something from this theme.
so remembering that i DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS...
business concept? check
name ? check
fonts chosen? check
brochure? mostly written
business card? check (and ordered, and i have 250 of them in my hands right now)
domain name, email and beginnings of a webpage layout? check
shopping bag? in progress
boxes and gift wrap? check (chosen in catalog and ready to show teacher.. the samples MAY arrive in time)
hang tag? in progress
earring cards? almost done (yes i have a punch that makes earring card cut outs....)
in fact, i decided i liked the name and potential so much, i *actually* bought the domain name.
so.. ummmmmm.. given this isn't a "final project" but more of a mid term.. any chance of me getting a best in quarter out of this, you think?
